Heart and Home has received tremendous community support in the form of in-kind donations, grants, and collaborations with local organizations and the local houses of faith who support our work. We are so grateful for these partners’ commitment!

Recent Grants

Based on a community nomination in 2018, Heart and Home received a grant of $3,000 from the Philanthropic Committee of the Woman’s Club of Palo Alto

The City of Palo Alto Human Services Emerging Needs Fund has provided generous support in 2018 to allow us to expand our season and again during the COVID shutdown in Spring 2020, supporting Heart and Home’s switch to 24-hour shelter.

The Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund channels community donations into programs to help local residents. Heart and Home’s 2020 COVID operations were greatly boosted by a Holiday Fund grant in 2020.

Our 2020 shelter season was supported by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
